They say everyone is a little bit Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, and during the next week there will be a range of activities for everyone.

The spirit of the emerald isle is always alive and well at McGrath’s Irish Pub on Route 4 in Killington. From 8 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday, Irish band Trinity will have revelers dancing a jig, as will Extra Stout, 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Trinity will return 4 p.m. Tuesday and play all day. In addition to music, diners can enjoy a menu of poached salmon, corned beef and cabbage or Guinness stew. Reservations can be made by calling 325-2540.

McGrath’s is not the only place offering Irish-theme cuisine. The Tinmouth Community Church will host a St. Patrick’s Day dinner, 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Community Center on Route 140. The menu will include corned beef and cabbage, carrots, and potatoes. Admission is $9 for adults, $5 for children 5-12 and children younger than 12 are free. For more information, call 446-2093.

In Bellows Falls, Stone Church Arts is hosting “St. Patrick’s Fiddle Frenzy,” at 7:30 p.m. at the Immanuel Episcopal Church. Cellist Eugene Friesen will lead an ensemble of fiddle players, including Emerald Rae, a national fiddling champion and Berklee College of Music graduate.

This will be Rae’s second Stone Church Arts appearance, said administrator Robert Bowler. Last year’s performance drew more than 120 people, many of whom requested Rae return this year, Bowler said.

Prior to the show there will be a dinner of — you guessed it — corned beef and cabbage. Admission to the show is $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and children younger than 12. Dinner tickets for adults are $10 in advance and $12 at the door, and $7 in advance and $8 at the door for seniors and children younger than 12. Tickets are available at Village Square Booksellers in Bellows Falls, Heartstone Books in Putney, Brattleboro Books, Misty Valley Books in Chester, www.brattleborotix.com and at the door.

For some more truly authentic Irish music, Celtic Crossroads will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Chandler Music Hall in Randolph. For more than 20 years, this Irish seven-piece band has toured the world, mixing traditional Irish music with classical, gypsy, bluegrass and jazz. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for students and seniors and are available by calling 728-6464.
