Perfect night at the Wife

Matthew Tuscano, widely known about town as "Tusky," grew up on Lake Bomoseen and manages the band Twiddle. Matt also spends many nights in Rutland trolling for live music. With his hands in virtually all aspects of the scene -- from management to booking to merchandise, recruiting, and lugging equipment -- his love of the music business behind the scenes stems from a lifelong love of rocking 'n' rolling. After a six-week break Twiddle is firing up its gig schedule and coming back with a vengeance.

Tonight, Friday, the four-piece band will be turning the Perfect Wife in Manchester on its side. For the occasion, the Castleton/Hubbardton/Rutland/Manchester boys are launching a couple of new songs. These guys are chomping at the bit to get back to rocking and rolling and making their crowds dance in their always-fun, high-energy shows. And what’s more, it is singer/guitarist Mihali’s birthday.

The Perfect Wife is a great venue that has live music Wednesday through Saturday. With a tavern upstairs and a nice restaurant downstairs, it’s a sweet spot to grab a yummy meal to fuel up a night of dancing.

Twiddle hasn’t played the Wife since February, and are looking forward to seeing their fanbase which has grown over their 15 shows there.

Come on out and wish Mickey a happy birthday and get down!
