All the bright sunshine today made the snow nice and soft; reminiscent of beautiful spring skiing conditions. After this morning’s gloomy showers, the sun was a delightful change and a wonderful way to spend the afternoon.
Current end-of-the-day temps are 36 degrees at the base and 20 at the sunny summit. Don’t get too attached to the sunshine though, tonight and tomorrow clouds are expected to enter and bring a new batch of snow!
Because the temperatures on the mountain are dropping, our snowmaking crews will be back out tonight working their wonders. Expect to see new snow tomorrow on Upper Nor’Easter, World Cup, Bull Run, Open Slope,Lower Mountain Road, Exhibition, Side Winder, Boomerang, and the SoBe Superpipe! Lots of effort has been going into getting the SoBe Superpipe ready for all the eager terrain park enthusiasts, so the wait won’t be much longer!!
