Matthew Tuscano, widely known about town as "Tusky," grew up on Lake Bomoseen and manages the band Twiddle. Matt also spends many nights in Rutland trolling for live music. With his hands in virtually all aspects of the scene -- from management to booking to merchandise, recruiting, and lugging equipment -- his love of the music business behind the scenes stems from a lifelong love of rocking 'n' rolling. Tusky Time Vermont Music blogOnce again we roll on into Thursday and once again South Station is hosting another musical act as they try and solidify themselves as a new music venue in the Rutland community.

Munchies, Martinis and Music is what they call it and it’s worth checking out. Tonight Brian Hobbs and Bruce White start their show at 5 p.m. Not only can you get a nice beverage, the food is outstanding. They have free appetizers set up for everyone to nibble on, so get going and see some great local music and enjoy some tasty food.

South Station is a fun place to hang out and with everyone’s help we can support their weekly installment of music so the restaurant/bar will keep it going. All it takes is people going out and enjoying themselves to keep these things alive, and you will have a good time in return. It’s a no-lose situation, so go have fun.

Want to check out a new artist, an awesome band, or experience a cool venue? Give Tusky your time.
