Lucid dreams

A band I work with, Lucid, good friends of mine, are coming from Plattsburgh, N.Y., this Friday to play Rutland’s Sidelines Taven in Center Street Alley.

This rockin’ six-piece plays very catchy original music, complete with a sax player and an awesome percussion player who plays the washboard - yes, that’s right - the washboard.Lucid are fresh from a supporting gig with Twiddle this past weekend in Times Square, New York City, and they are slotted as opening act for Twiddle’s grand headlining gig at the Higher Ground ballroom April 26.

Always a great show, come down to Sidelines and rock out with us.Showtime is 10 p.m. Expect to pay about $5 to help the band with their travels from Plattsburgh as they no doubt will put on an entertaining show for the Rutland community.
