Every day we are closer to spring, and though we would be happy to see it arrive, that means there will be no snow for skiing. While the opportunity presents itself, head to the mountain and take advantage of what they have to offer.
Sat. Mar. 15 – Sun. Mar. 16:
Killington – Chevrolet U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix kicks off with more than 100 top snowboarders in the world. The mountain also offers live entertainment and with spring creeping up, there won’t be snow for long. If you can’t get out or miss it, NBC is carrying the contest too next Saturday, March 23, starting at 12:30 p.m.
Mon. Mar. 17:
Bromley – Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in a constructive way – wear green on the mountain and get a ticket for just $17. Irish or not, it would be a shame to miss this chance.
Okemo – When Irish eyes are smiling, go to the St. Patrick’s Day “Shamrock” Scavenger Hunt. Hidden around the mountain are 10 Shamrocks. Find one and return it to the Base Lodge Learning Center and receive a bag of goodies.
Tue. Mar. 18:
Okemo – Another Ladies’ Day allows women to ski all day for $39 or enjoy a group lesson for $25. What better way to indulge yourself than with fun in the snow?
Wed. Mar. 19:
Okemo – For $39, why wouldn’t you ski all day? Just present your Vt. or Nh. license when purchasing your ticket and receive a discount.
Thu. Mar. 20:
Okemo – Skiers and riders are shown just how special they are on Okemo’s Appreciation day. All of the people that decide to take advantage of this day will do so for just $39. Why not enjoy it while you can?
Thu. Mar. 20 – Mon. Mar. 24:
Smuggler’s Notch – Stay five nights or more on the Club Smugglers’ Advantage Package. Arrive between Mar. 20 and Mar. 23 and get SuperSaver Rates over Easter weekend.
