Brandon art auction to benefit arts guild

The painted and decorated cats and dogs created by area artists earlier this year and placed around the town will be available for purchase at auction next month.

The auction to benefit arts programs of the Brandon Artists Guild, the Town Hall Community Center and the town’s school district will be held Oct. 6, at the Brandon Town Hall. The preview of the multicolored cats and dogs will begin at 5 p.m., followed by the auction at 7 p.m.

A $5 admission fee also will go toward supporting school district arts events.
